Support from the Queensland Critical Minerals and Battery Technology Fund will support Gold Coast battery manufacturer, Feline, to automate production of their advanced lithium-ion (LI) batteries.Feline is currently the only cell and battery manufacturer in Australia, producing their own active cathode and electrolyte materials in-house.
The company will procure and commission new manufacturing equipment in their recently expanded plant to deliver increased capacity through automation and precision manufacturing capabilities.
This will enhance production quality, speed and reliability of the company’s operations in producing batteries to power the world’s growing fleet of electrified large passenger vehicles and marine vessels.
