With Queensland Government support, leading food manufacturer Kerry Australia relocated its Australia-New Zealand headquarters from Sydney to Brisbane and established a new $2.5 million technology and innovation centre of excellence.
The Kerry Australia and New Zealand Development and Application Centre at Murarrie is forecast to create 55 high-value, operational jobs, including new local roles for technical staff allocated to the innovation centre and new corporate roles for its HQ.
The purpose-built centre combines technology and innovation with manufacturing and client engagement. The centre will assist local and regional food manufacturers and include a suite of Australian-first agile pilot plants, laboratories, and tasting facilities to bring end-to-end food innovation cycle under one roof.
