PWR will invest $21.9 million in facility upgrades and new equipment over a three-year period, increasing production capacity by 114%, thanks to the Queensland Government’s Invested in Queensland program.
PWR has experienced immense success in motor sport and rapid growth in the defence and aerospace sectors by revolutionising cooling technology with its many products.
PWR currently provides technology-driven solutions to several high-end automotive brands such as Aston Martin, McLaren and Koenigsegg, and is a key supplier to automotive racing teams in competitions such as Formula 1, NASCAR and V8 Supercars.
The larger advanced manufacturing facility will enable the company to expand further into the key industries of aerospace and defence as well as renewable energy solutions into the future.
The new facility, expected to be move-in ready in 2025, will see PWR create up to 488 new jobs over the next 10 years, more than doubling its current Australian workforce of 340 staff.
Additionally, the 18-month construction phase will support around 75 jobs.
