Metagenics has been producing health products in Queensland for 35 years, manufacturing and distributing market-leading brands such as Inner Health, Ethical Nutrients and Metagenics.
It also supplies more than 500 natural medicine products across the country and currently employs 365 staff across Australia and New Zealand, with 80 per cent of their workforce based in Queensland.
The Queensland-based natural medicine company partnered with the Queensland Government to build a new state-of-the-art tableting production and coating facility at its Northgate factory.
The vitamin, minerals and supplements sector has grown by $2 billion over the past five years. Assisting Metagenics to expand its product lines improves their Queensland production capabilities supporting future local manufacturing jobs.
The new facility assisted Metagenics to remove reliance on external contract manufacturers for their tableted products and secure supply chains to decrease company risk.
