Review of State Finances

In accordance with its 2015 election commitment, the Queensland Government has commissioned Queensland Treasury to undertake a Review of the State’s finances. The Review was published alongside the 2015-16 State Budget on 14 July 2015.

The Review gave consideration to the State’s medium-term fiscal projections and strategy and discussed options to refocus the State’s balance sheet. The Review also made recommendations in relation to the Government’s five fiscal principles.
